![]() The major issues with JSP, as they pertain to individual players, are that when a new ladder starts players with large amounts of FG have an advantage over those who either don't have a large amount of FG or don't use JSP. Many players on JSP can act like dicks / very opportunistically in the name of making more FG, which puts a sour taste in some players mouths. Jsp has some bad rep amongst some diablo players, but to be honest very few of the complaints are valid in my opinion. ![]() In these instances players with the item / service will comment asking prices, and the original poster can negotiate in that thread. You can also post on jsp that you are in search of (or "ISO") or want to buy ("WTB") a particular item or service. You can look up and see what that item has been selling at on jsp (in arms length transactions) in recent trades. This can be a useful way of valuating the price of certain items. These comments are viewable by the public, and more desirable items can result in comment threads that in effect are an auction, with various players trying to out bid one another for the item. Other players will comment in those threads with either an agreement to pay the BiN price or with some offer that is beneath the BiN price. Players post to D2jsp advertising in game items or services, oftentimes with asking prices in FG referred to as "BiN" (which means "Buy it now"). You can 1) purchase FG directly from jsp for real world money at fixed rates, and you can 2) have other players send you their fg, typically in exchange for some in game item or service. While it's possible to trade item for item on jsp, the stark majority of trades use jsp's own currency called forum gold or "FG" for short. There's already a lot of discussion but to answer your question:ĭ2jsp is a website forum that facilitates trading of in game items from various games (including d2).
